Evolve Housing is a leading not-for-profit housing provider in Australia, based in Parramatta. The organisation provide housing solutions to eligible people on very low to moderate incomes who are unable to access appropriate housing in the private market. This includes social and affordable housing.

The thriving team are now looking for a Housing Manager for their Paramatta Office, to start immediately on a temporary basis.

**The Role**

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Provide outstanding service and deliver effective end to end tenancy management;
- Undertake residential consultation and manage and respond to tenant enquiries, complaints and grievances;
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure leasehold landlords comply with the terms of the tenancy agreement;
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance team to ensure up keep of properties within portfolio, as required;
- Monitor rental and non rental accounts including ensuring early intervention in arrears recovery; and
- Ensure vacant properties are filled according to Evolve Housing standards.

You may also need to attend the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal as required, and carry out general administration duties such as preparing letters and reports.

**About You**
- You will have a Certificate IV or Higher in Social Housing or a related field, complemented by experience and knowledge of the social and community housing sector;
- Demonstrated ability to plan your time effectively and work autonomously;
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written skills;
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse, and at times, challenging customers; and
- Strong MS office, word, excel and outlook skills.

You will have a demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member, and be someone who understands, respects and is sensitive towards cultural and social diversity.

Holding a current driver's licence, Working with Children’s Check NSW and completing a criminal history check may be a requirement for this role.
