What will your new day look like?

Reporting to the Senior Manager Growth & Strategy, this full-time role is responsible for leading high-quality bid and tender submissions, while driving Evolve Housing's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy. The role sits within the Growth, Governance and Legal Division and plays a key part in advancing our organisational growth and sustainability agenda.

You will be responsible for researching, coordinating and writing compelling submissions that showcase Evolve Housing's value proposition, as well as managing ESG reporting and initiatives that reduce our climate footprint and strengthen our social impact.

Essential to this role is your ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver persuasive proposals and embed ESG practices across the organisation.

Key accountabilities include:

Bid & Tender Coordination

  • Research, write and compile EOIs, RFTs/RFPs, grant responses and capability statements.
  • Liaise with legal, finance and operational teams to ensure submissions reflect our strategic goals and service delivery strengths.
  • Maintain a library of standard content, case studies and organisational data.
  • Contribute to the development of an AI-based database to streamline proposal processes.
  • Deliver high-quality written proposals and presentations aligned with Evolve Housing branding and compliance requirements.

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)

  • Coordinate and implement ESG initiatives and reporting across the business.
  • Lead quarterly and annual ESG reporting, ensuring consistency and data integrity.
  • Monitor performance against our ESG roadmap and action plan.
  • Provide ESG training and lead internal engagement to embed sustainability practices.
  • Communicate ESG impact to internal and external stakeholders through campaigns and reports.

Some important things you will need to begin this journey

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in writing large bids and tenders.
  • Experience with ESG reporting processes, data management, and frameworks.
  • Tertiary qualifications in research, sustainability, social impact or 5+ years' experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and plan in a complex environment.
  • Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to working in a small, collaborative team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Action-oriented and outcome-focused mindset
  • Understanding of the community housing and/or NFP sector (desirable).
