**About the Opportunity**:

- Optimise ALH’s digital platforms and digital partnerships to achieve customer and business outcomes
- Assist with defining the vision and strategy for Hotels digital channels
- In partnership with endeavourX and the Hotels team help drive the digital reinvention of our Hotels business
- Work directly with EDX digital teams to help define the future state ecommerce and omnichannel mission and P&L

**A day in the life of a Manager Ecommerce (Digital and Strategy) - Hotels**:
**Strategy Contribution**:

- Understand Hotels customer and team journeys and business drivers
- Assist with developing a strategy for our Hotels digital platforms that works synergistically with the Hotels app and loyalty program
- Collaborate with diverse teams across X, Hotels and Technology to develop a target state, transition plan and business case for replatforming our Hotels digital channels
- Collaborate with Operations and Technology team as they develop a target state that enables our team to support our customers across their digital and physical journeys
- Work with EDX to develop a prospective revenue and cost model, along with detailing out potential ecommerce propositions for ALH
- Work with ALH and EDX leadership to identify prospective target operating models (including spans and layers) which would best be able to help deliver the expanding digital ALH mission over time

**Channel management and optimisation**:

- Management of hotels digital channels including individual Hotel websites, Table booking, Pub Wifi, Events, Accommodation and Functions (TBC Footy Tipping, Reviews, Individual Pub EDMs, Pub Wifi including reviews/loopon)
- Management of Google My Business and SEO optimisation
- Achieve traffic, conversion and customer acquisition targets
- Work with diverse teams to achieve and better customer experiences and commercial outcomes through a prioritised roadmap of initiatives
- Bring the Hotels brands, strategy and customer plan to life through our digital channels

**Proposition development**:

- In partnership with the Hotels and endeavourX teams define the digital propositions for our Hotels business that work in conjunction with the Hotels app and membership program
- With existing ecommerce and digital teams, work with venues to understand omnichannel requirements

**Third party management**:

- Manage digital 3rd parties balancing commercial, innovation and customer acquisition objectives
- Review all existing partnerships and contracts
- Develop a complete understanding of options and a recommended future state and transition plan

**Leadership and ways of working**:

- Instill a customer centric approach to maximise value for customers
- Actively and proactively collaborate across the business
- Actively assist in increasing digital, product and agile literacy within the business
- Actively support the development of digital, product and agile understanding

**What you’ll need to succeed**

**Qualifications, Experience & technical requirements**:

- Degree qualified in Marketing, Commerce or equivalent degree
- 5 years of digital and eCommerce experience
- Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills
- Experience in digital, customer experience or ecommerce and in particular experience in developing digital or ecommerce strategy
- Strong analytical financial literacy and experience developing business cases

**The following skills are desirible but not essential**:

- Experience in hospitality businesses
- Experience working in matrixed and/or agile organisations
- Experience working in strategy consulting
