**ROLE**

To oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods including accurate data entry into the company's computer software system; ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and is responsible for the security and maintenance of the building, plant and equipment and stock.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing data entry, program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Assists the company in improving and developing its policies and procedures to provide a safer working environment
- Hold warehouse monthly safety meetings, induct and train staff, maintain equipment, machinery and tools.
- Maintain up to date safety registers which includes warehouse monthly meetings minutes, induction, training record/qualifications, equipment, machinery and tools
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts
- Conducts annual stocktake, regular stock counts, stock adjustments and allocations
- Booking repairs for crane, forklift or any other office/warehouse equipment as needed
- Training new warehouse staff and monitoring their performance and progress
- Ensures delivery and budget objectives are met
- Maintain integrity of ERP system
- Produce and contribute to internal reporting such as Job Costing, Project Registers, Job Sheets

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Forklift licence is essential
- Previous experience working with ERP systems
- Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
- Experience in managing a small team
- A 'can-do' attitude with strong willingness to learn
- High attention to detail, with strong multitasking and organisational skills
