Warehouse Supervisor

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Your role will be providing support to the Business in relation to all Warehouse & Distribution functions across the business. This role will require you to work actively on the floor between the hours Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm. There may be an occasional requirement to work outside of these hours, inclusive of Saturday.

Your Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Manage the WMS from a warehouse perspective ensuring inventory accuracy, inbound and outbound best practice.
- Prepare and complete sales orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule/procedure (pick, pack, label, ship)
- Ensure all internal & external stakeholders are kept up to date on freight.
- Maintaining strict & accurate inventory control.
- Ensuring high standards are met and maintained with warehouse processes, compliance, housekeeping and WHS.
- Team Supervision, Delegation & Training.
- Manage & Handling all shipping and receiving of goods
- Liaising with Transport companies.
- Ordering and tracking consumables
- Conduct periodic spot checks, stock takes and performance management tasks.
- Operate warehouse equipment including vehicles efficiently and to ensure no damage.

**Qualities & Competencies you will be able to demonstrate**:

- Min 5 Yrs Exp in the same or similar role is a must

- Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management and operations management.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and have previous experience using a Warehouse Management systems
- Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation requirements with good writing skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with both internal and external customers.
- Excellent planning and resource allocation skills.
- Current forklift licence is a must.
- Current car licence preferred.
- Experience in implementing an ERP/WMS - Current system is Netsuite
