This role is responsible for managing the warehouse team in all activities related with the physical flow and system control of materials from our suppliers through to finished product to our customers

The purpose of the role is to lead the receiving, shipping and controller teams in the continued performance improvement of systems and processes across:

- Logistics: Inbound delivery of materials to our facility and export delivery to customers.
- Process : Control of inbound and outbound documentation around Customs Duty and fees
- Warehouse: Correct storage, inventory control, traceable records and stock accuracy
- Materials: Kitting and Kanban material flow through the manufacturing process

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager

Key responsibilities
- Lead the Warehouse teams through goal setting, motivation and personnel management
- Develop and implement systems to improve material control process’ and inventory management
- Implement processes and procedures for materials control and traceability
- Develop and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement programs
- Implement and maintain processes for materials issue to production using kits and Kanban
- Improve efficiency and speed of review and disposition for rejected materials
- Manage the supply and issuing of materials to R&D programs and internal customers
- Manage international logistics costs and logistics vendor performance
- Maintain inventory control, part data accuracy and O&E levels using Oracle
- Drive a culture of safety, quality and service throughout the team
- Lead Internal Audits of all inventory locations and reconcile physical to system
- Set, maintain and monitor KPI metrics with improvement plans
- Provide effective proactive liaison with other departments to forecast, plan and meet supply demand
- Sponsor warehouse safety and ensure OH&S compliance with company and legal requirements
- Ensure compliance with all necessary reporting and administrative directions.

Education and necessary skills
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of ERP systems, preferably Oracle
- Strong capabilities with processes improvement, change engagement and implementation (5S, lean, 6 sigma)
- Strong IT skills to generate reports and analyse data
- Good command of spoken and written English with the ability to deliver clear and succinct communication
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principals
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality management systems in a warehouse/production environment
- Ability to manage staff and personnel issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Minimum 5 years of operations management in a technology manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated, results oriented and high adaptability
- Degree level education in an appropriate engineering or operational discipline
