A prestigious contract opportunity for a Principal Planning Officer working in State Government.
**Your new company**
This State Government Agency based in Western Sydney is currently involved in a pivotal reform project looking at existing infrastructure frameworks within NSW and are looking to bring on a Principal Planning Officer to aid with the increased workload.

**Your new role**
The Principal Planning Officer will take on a lead role in the development and delivery of crucial reports and cabinet recommendations in a high-pressure environment whilst managing the different and competing interests of various external agencies, stakeholder and community expectations. You will be involved in various land reform and trunk infrastructure requirements and looking at existing frameworks currently in place. You will be required to attend regular proposal meetings and liaise directly with relevant parties.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You must have excellent report writing skills, leadership skills and have worked to a senior level within NSW Planning State Government Space. Within this role you will be working on some of the more complex land corridors and trunk infrastructure reform works. Experience assessing a broad range of developments is vital.

**What you'll get in return**
You will receive a highly competitive rate of $83-95 per hour + Super dependant on experience as well as an initial 6-month contract.
