Brisbane, Australia Megaport Full time

**About Megaport**

We’re not your typical tech company - and we don’t want to be. Megaport is the global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), and has transformed the way businesses connect to the cloud, data centers, and each other. We’re publicly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and partnered with the biggest names in tech like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, IBM, and more. Headquartered in Brisbane with a crew of over 350 people spread across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, our employees enjoy an environment that is collaborative, supportive, and (actually) fun.

**Our Team Culture**

We’re a team of problem solvers, pixel pushers, code slingers, and cloud fanatics. Culture is more than a poster on the wall here - collaboration beats hierarchy, curiosity fuels our growth, and everyone’s voice matters. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We work across time zones to execute on our global vision, trust each other to get things done, and never compromise our values for commercial gain. Most importantly, we place our customers at the center of everything we do.

**Your Role**

This is a **12 - 16 month fixed term contract** covering maternity leave. Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you’ll lead and support our global Talent Acquisition team while remaining hands-on in recruitment delivery. You’ll balance team leadership and mentorship with running end-to-end searches yourself - a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, partnering closely with hiring managers, and driving both team performance and personal results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Just as importantly, you’ll embody the Megaport spirit, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a positive team culture.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- ** Mentor and support**: Coach and develop recruiters, sharing sourcing strategies, interview guidance, and closing techniques to lift the team’s capability.
- ** Be the partner**: Work directly with hiring managers and leaders to understand hiring needs, shape role briefs, and provide trusted guidance on market insights.
- ** Innovate sourcing**:Proactively build pipelines through networking, research, and creative outreach, especially for niche or hard-to-fill roles.
- ** Track and improve**: Use data to evaluate recruitment activity - both your own and the team’s - and turn insights into action.
- ** Champion our brand**: Contribute to content, events, and campaigns that showcase Megaport as an employer of choice.
- ** Keep us moving**:Help manage recruitment tools, vendors, and processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- ** Culture champion**: A strong fit with our team values, you bring positivity, collaboration, and the Megaport spirit to everything you do.
- ** High-energy contributor**: Positive, collaborative, and motivated to both lead and do.
- ** Team leader and mentor**: Experienced in guiding others, sharing knowledge, and helping a team grow through coaching and support.
- ** Trusted advisor**: Able to build strong partnerships with stakeholders and influence hiring decisions with credibility.
- ** Organised operator**: Skilled at juggling competing priorities, delivering results, and keeping a team on track.
- ** Data-driven thinker**: Comfortable using metrics and reporting to evaluate performance and make decisions.

**What We Offer**:

- Flexible working environment - a remote-first culture with coworking options available
- Generous leave plans - including, parental leave, birthday leave, and a purchased annual leave program
- Health and wellness support - through a wellness allowance and employee wellbeing initiatives
- Comprehensive learning support - generous study and training allowance plus paid study leave
- Creative, modern workspaces - designed to inspire when you're not working remotely, plus access to coworking spaces via our global WeWork membership if you work remotely, but like to get out of the house sometimes
- Motivated, inclusive team - work alongside industry experts and fresh talent
- Recognition programs - celebrate achievements with our Legend and Kudos award
