**Your new company**
Our client is among the world’s top producers of major commodities including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.
**Your new role**
You will provide effective, professional administration and coordination services to an executive level leader of a global mining organisation. You will be the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders and so is essential you leave a professional and welcoming first impression.
You will:
- Manage the calendar, maintaining a 3 month look ahead of key activities, organise and coordinate all travel including flights and accommodation and other administrative activities and projects as directed.
- Reconcile expenses
- Host, and facilitate visits of the companies lead team members when they are in Adelaide or on site.
- Organise and coordinate department meetings
- Prepare presentation & communication materials, and proof-read, edit and collate reports as required.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites and provide advice on the use of Yammer, WebEx, Teams, OneNote and other collaboration platforms.
- Maintain the department communication plan and coordinate Quarterly reviews of the Plan.
- Provide travel coordination support for Managers, and other administrative activities and projects as directed by Managers (as time allows).
- Provide travel support and coordination for international travel and for group domestic travel.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have the upmost professional approach to your work with a polished communication style fitting an executive level environment. You will have previous experience as an EA and demonstrate an ability to be organised and adaptable in a fast paced assignment. You will have
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise duties
- High attention to detail
- Expertise in dealing with sensitive and strictly confidential information
- Prior experience in an EA/Senior Administrative/Secretarial role
- Strong planning, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
**What you'll get in return**
This 12 month assignment is to cover maternity leave and will have full time hours working Monday to Friday. Work from home arrangements is available however these also must fit with business requirements. You will work with executive level managers in a global leader of the mining sector and will be remunerated between $40 to $50 + Super per hour based on experience and skill set.
