**About us**

The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.

**About the role**

**Key Accountabilities include**:

- Effectively deliver ICT services to stakeholders including the audit, provision and disposal of hardware with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the delivery of ICT projects and process optimisation with a view to improving service levels, removing IT complexity, and simplifying systems.
- Contribute to documentation that reflects current functionality, operating procedures and processes, and provide user training as required.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, conducting dealings in a professional and appropriate manner.

**About you**

To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:

- Demonstrated experience in providing support in a Windows environment, with sound generalist troubleshooting skills.
- Provisioning and supporting a wide range of end-user computing hardware, including but not limited to laptops, monitors, iPhones, printers/MFDs and meeting rooms.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to express opinions, information and key points clearly and concisely via effective verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situations.
- Sound conceptual and analytical skills, strong initiative and a 'can do' approach to identify issues and develop appropriate solutions to solve business problems and improve efficiency and effectiveness.

**Other requirements**
- ICT tertiary qualification is highly desirable, and/or Certification in ITIL.
