Pricing Analytics Manager

You will manage a team of talented professionals to deliver a portfolio of analytics and modelling solutions to achieve the strategic goals of Consumer customers. You will also develop value-driven analytical concepts and solutions.

In this role, you will contribute to development of innovative pricing analytics strategies as well as assisting the Executive Manager Model Activate & Analytics in new analytical capabilities scoping and development.

**What you’ll do**
- Actively motivate, develop, coach and engage team members to drive results and create a high performing team
- Create a plan to drive performance of the team and deliver team results against objectives and goals
- Successfully balance deliverables with staff training and development of technical modelling expertise
- Actively collaborate across the Division and Function to support the achievement of objectives
- Contribute to the development and operationalization of the strategic plan for MA&A
- Manage multiple analytics projects across the team to deliver successful business outcomes
- Create an environment where talented analytics professionals thrive
- Create appropriate modelling/analytics peer review processes and modelling/analytics standards for staff

**What you’ll bring**
- Relevant degree in Actuarial Studies, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics Commerce or related field
- Preferably 5+ years of experience leading a team of people, proven ability to lead & engage a team to achieve individual, team and divisional goals
- Proven experience in analytics within financial services businesses
- Advanced analytical skills - ability to develop solutions and courses of action by using an information base to identify key issues, compare with other data and determine cause-effect relationships.
- Knowledge and experience in using SAS, Excel, and relational databases and other programming languages such as Python, C, R, VB is advantageous
- The ability to recognise, understand and support need for change and anticipated impact on both the team and self. Adaptable and responsive to a continuously changing environment
