The Analytics Lead role within BPAR aims to deliver high quality analytics solutions that provide insights to business functions to support data driven decision making and ultimately drives an uplift to business performance. The Analytics Lead role works with stakeholders to deliver analytics and insights which meet business needs and are fit for purpose.

**What you’ll do**
- Understanding the user’s goals and pain points to design analytics solutions.
- Ensuring developed solutions are in line with Group and business function strategy broad.
- Champions the use of data and insights and demonstrates value from solutions.
- Highlighting gaps and opportunities in existing analytics solutions in comparison to industry best practices
- Increase self service capability of insights for Consumer Insurance
- Making recommendations for new and transformational analytics solutions through business cases
- Reduce rework and lead time of BI requests
- Leveraging Suncorp data sources to unlock value from data to deliver actionable insights
- Building positive working relationships with stakeholders
- Understanding Suncorp’s data governance standards and keeping them at the forefront when designing analytics solutions
- Ensuring solutions meet overarching BI strategy and integrate with existing architecture to prevent silos
- Supports maturity uplift of analytics solutions by improving query speeds and reducing time to data availability
- Understanding the business process and how analytics solutions fit into those processes
- Understanding analytics solution health and ensuring proposed solutions take into account risks and limitations
- Support partners in delivering value adding analytics solutions

**What you’ll bring**
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology or other quantitative discipline or equivalent experience (mandatory)
- Tableau certification (Desired)
- Experience (minimum type and level of experience required to perform the role)
- 5+ years of commercial experience in Insurance, Banking, Information Technology or other quantitative discipline desired.
- Experience delivering BI solutions in a complex enterprise environment is highly regarded.
- Project management experience is valuable
