**The role**:
Working for Gumtree, Carsguide & Autotrader’s commercial division, you will own the strategy & delivery of digital pricing and inventory management across our leading classifieds & auto editorial network.

You will be responsible for optimising advertising yields across our network, overseeing advertising data visualisation technologies, creating pricing strategies and working with sales leadership and key internal stakeholders to maximise revenue and inventory utilisation.

A day in the life of

Develop tactical pricing and inventory packaging initiatives in response to market dynamics
Work closely with the programmatic leads to maximise yields + identify opportunities for the direct sales team to grow share of wallet
Create and maintain complex long-term pricing, inventory and revenue models + reports for digital advertising products
Oversee the integration of ad partners with our data visualisation technologies and maintain real time reporting capabilities
Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on inventory utilisation and yield performance
Work closely with Finance team on monthly reconciliations, sales patch reporting & forecasting
Manage ad product P&L and drive sales team accountability within a high performing sales culture
Collaborate with key Product, Technology and Advertising team stakeholders to program manage yield optimization experiments from ideation to reporting
Collaborate with key Advertising & Finance stakeholders to optimise and improve sales & billing workflows

You can fill these boots with..

Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in roles related to pricing, inventory, trading and/or data analysis, preferably within advertising
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at all levels within the business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of digital publisher advertising & commercial strategies
Comprehensive understanding of the Australian media landscape
Demonstrable decision making experience based on data and analysis
Ability to communicate complex experiments in a simple manner
Advanced MS Excel skills, previous experience querying relational databases (SQL) is also desirable
Strong experience in an account service support role and an enthusiasm for online advertising
Excellent time management, prioritisation and follow-up skills, including the ability to effectively balance quality and quantity of output.

**Technical Skills**:
An understanding of publisher ad servers like Google Ad Manager (fka DFP)
Hands on experience with data visualisation technologies e.g. Datorama, Tableau, Burt.io, Google Data Studio
Familiarity with sales order management systems &/or CRMs e.g. Salesforce, Adbook, Advendio
Previous experience working with publisher advertising technologies will be looked upon favourably e.g. Xandr/Appnexus, Pubmatic, Magnite, Index Exchange
Experience working with Google or Adobe Analytics will be looked upon favourably
