**About the client**
Based north of the bridge in Brisbane, this privately owned Australian forwarder have a national presence of 40 staff importing and exporting all over the globe. Expanding into new territories and markets, there is no better time to join this expanding business.

**About the role**
Managing all national operational teams for imports and exports, your role will be to enhance all operational functions within the business by focusing on efficiencies and procedures already in place and whether they need to be edited or upgraded completely. Joining the senior leadership team in internal stakeholder management meetings on company policy to give valued input in decisions to be made.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage all import export operational teams and movements
- National direct report lines
- Implement procedures and efficiencies existing and new
- CI roll outs
- Hands on operational skills when required (limited)
- Interstate travel

**Skills & Experience**
- Freight Forwarding background
- Import / Export operational background
- Management or Supervisor experience
- Hands on operational skill capabilities
- Cargowise / CW1 exposure desirable
- Direct reporting and stakeholder management skills
