**Your New Opportunity**:
An excellent **full time**, **permanent** career opportunity has arisen for a **National** **Parts Operations Manager **to join our Team at our **National Parts Distribution Centre (PDC)** located in Wacol, Brisbane.

This role reports directly into the General Manager, Parts and Supply Chain.

Major areas of responsibility include;
- Ensure a highly motivated environment for team members to flourish.
- Responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency and performance of the parts operations, reducing operating expenses and maximising profitability.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the PAU supply chain including the implementation of supply chain initiatives and managing projects.
- Oversee and have responsibility for the performance of the PDC and strategies to maximise HSE, parts stock control, ensure best customer service and achievement of relevant KPI's.
- Oversee the Customer Service team function ensuring high level of support is provided to our Branch/Dealer network.
- Develop and maintain reports on the performance of parts operations, present to stakeholders and implement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure effective strategies are in place to manage the Supply Chain and Logistics including all freight carriers Domestic & International.
- Oversee the preparation of PDC and Branch/Dealer support inventories for new model/component introduction.

**About you**:

- Experience within the Australian heavy vehicle market across European, American and all-makes truck, bus, engine and trailer parts.
- Knowledge / background in Distribution Centre management and/or Supply Chain operations.
- Commercially focused to ensure delivery of sales and customer service objectives aligned with business drivers and outputs.
- Strong engagement style with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at varying levels of internal and external operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills including willingness to take ownership of and address issues with a drive towards continuous improvement.
- Proficient user of MS Office suite of tools to build reports and present information.
- Prior experience in Pentana IDS, WMS will be well regarded but not essential
