National Operations Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary leader to head our out of hospital operations. As National Operations Director, you will lead a national team of clinical and non-clinical professionals in delivering exceptional health outcomes through high-performing teams, innovative service models, and a deep commitment to real wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a national team of clinical and non-clinical professionals
  • Own end-to-end operational performance across the Out of Hospital (OOH) portfolio
  • Drive clinical governance, service excellence, and workforce optimisation
  • Foster innovation and implement change to deliver safe, efficient, and scalable care models
  • Champion continuous improvement, best practice, and high-reliability standards
  • Strengthen referral pathways, triage and intake processes and digital care coordination

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in senior management within health or community services
  • Deep expertise in patient referral, triage/intake, care coordination and virtual care operations
  • AHPRA Registration (Nursing or Allied Health)
  • A proven track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial, digital, and project delivery acumen
  • Confidence in navigating complexity, transformation, and change

Work Environment:

This hybrid role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home on a 12-month full-time fixed term contract.
