National Cleaning Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced **National** **Cleaning Operations Manager** to join our team in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney. Your role is to deliver commercial results by developing, implementing and continuously improving our cleaning and sanitisation processes. Working closely with the sales team, your focus will be to project manage a diverse team across all our industry sectors in Australia to provide an enhanced, standardised service.

This position will oversee the success of these sites on a national basis and understanding the nuances of this leadership role is critical to the success of the business; it is brilliant leadership that is well and truly at the epicentre of this role. The ability to lead and mentor your team, drive the culture of service and quality that underpins our brand values, deliver amazing service and create an environment in which customers can experience the entirety of the Compass Group experience is conducive to success in this position.

**The Role**
- Carry out inspections and compliance by undertaking audits and Job Safety Analysis
- Maintain procedures and actively engage in the site safety culture
- Providing leadership to our onsite teams
- Leading and driving new site mobilisations
- Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation with an unwavering commitment to our brand standards and quality focus
- Driving operational efficiency that maximises financial results through conversion of business strategy to operational models
- Effectively oversee multiple sites/operations to ensure that they're performing to the highest standard including performance within budgets, management of safety outcomes and improved employee capability and engagement
- Achieving client satisfaction and contract retention goals through maintaining and improving existing relationships with key customers

**The Person**
- Previous experience managing medium to large teams with knowledge of both hospitality and housekeeping functions
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills whilst thinking on your feet
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety, a strong commitment to safety to ensure targets are achieved
- Advanced commercial skills with experience managing complex contracts and/or P&Ls
