**About the Centre**

North Melbourne Recreation Centre is an aquatic and recreation centre located in North Melbourne, Victoria. The Centre run a variety of fitness and stadium programs throughout the year and our outdoor pools are open in summer.

North Melbourne Recreation Centre includes both the main building and the North Melbourne Pool down the street.

**About the role**

This is a unique opportunity to work within a cross-skilled team in two complementary roles.

As a Lifeguard at North Melbourne Outdoor Pool, you’ll help provide a safe swimming environment for all centre visitors. You’ll be patient, focused and friendly to keep pool-users informed and safe.

As a Customer Service Officer you will be greeting members, responding to enquiries, and performing general but important administrative tasks. Our Customer Service Officer's always put the customer experience at the forefront of all interactions with people within the community.

The hourly rate for casual Customer Service Officer is $30.44; and the hourly rate for casual Pool Lifeguard is $32.25.

**About you**

**Essential Qualifications**
- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
