About the role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to work in our busy head office in North Ryde.

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

  • Receive and record customer contacts via telephone, web, email and letter in Sharp's bespoke CRM.
  • Ensure all contacts are resolved in a courteous and professional manner to ensure that the customer is provided with an efficient and effective response.
  • Take ownership, request additional support, and escalate contacts as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Receive and process Finished Good, Spare Part & Consumable order requests, ensuring orders are processed in a timely manner. Follow up outstanding orders and keep customers up to date.
  • Log contacts for service technicians to attend customer premises through Sharp's bespoke job management system.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate database of customers and machine information through applying universal naming conventions to increase accuracy of database.
  • Assist with obtaining and accurately entering monthly meter readings received from customers.
  • Receive and resolve Sharp's online store order enquires.

Candidate Criteria

If you are a person who is willing to take the Challenge, be ready to make a Commitment, has the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and has the below experience, then this is the right job for you.

  • 2 years' minimum experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
  • Established data processing skills, allowing data entry whilst communicating with customers
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness of customer service advice and data entry
  • Experience with SAP and Service management tools e.g. Salesforce would be highly regarded
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
