**Description**:
Purpose
As Workforce Partner you will be focused on providing ongoing support to customers and employers within the Disability Employment Services (DES) program to ensure sustainable employment and outcomes are realised.
In this role you will devise interventions and solutions and work with the customers and employers to implement them in the workplace. A solid understanding of people centred case management principles including barrier management is core to your continued success.
**Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
Build and maintain effective customer and employer relationships
Gain understanding of the role requirements and assess customer fit and training needs
Work with customer and employer to ensure smooth transition into the workplace
Maintain regular contact and provide on-going support with customers and employers
Deliver effective and timely communication and post placement care to both employers and customers
Record all actions within the required timeframes, ensuring all schedules are maintained regularly with documentary evidence
**Skills and Experiences**:
Personal Attributes
Ability to analyse job requirements and effectively support job seekers and employers according to their needs
Strong problem-solving skills, able to introduce and oversee effective workplace interventions by seeking out-of-the-box solutions
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, use initiative and multi-task activities at varying stages
Strong oral and written communication, able to adapt style to suit their audience
High level of resilience and ability to remain calm and keep a positive attitude when responding to a range of situations
Exceptional ability to build relationships with others, particularly with employers
High level of computer literacy
An open car drivers licence
Required Experience
Has experience in creating customised employment opportunities and diversity programs
Confident to seek opportunities for job carving, job sharing and creating opportunities that are not defined by job title but may be by task etc
Proven experience in job seeker service delivery and mentoring, able to effectively access appropriate job seeker training needs and provide guidance
Experience negotiating with leaders within small and medium size organisations
