Are you looking for a new challenge? This is an exciting, permanent opportunity, in a newly created leadership position in the People and Culture division of the Public Trustee Queensland. To be successful, you will bring your experience in Human Resources (HR) business partnering and client engagement, to inspire, coach and lead a small team, ensuring the delivery of high quality, responsive HR support and solutions. You will be valued for your positive outlook and your ability to grow workplace relations capability in your team and across the broader organisation.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activity of the team across a wide range of HR matters, including employment conditions, performance management, grievance resolution, organisational change and establishment management. High regard is held for a strong commitment to continuous improvement and proactive contribution to a capable, engaged healthy workforce.
- Building strong internal relationships and a high level of understanding of client needs to provide fit-for-purpose solutions and advice.
- Providing expert, authoritative, and time critical advice and consultancy services to Executive and senior managers on complex human resource matters (including employee relations, industrial relations, enterprise bargaining, behaviour, conduct and integrity matters, employee individual grievance management, organisational change, establishment management, and employment conditions) through interpretation of legislation, regulations, directives, industrial instruments, human resource policies and guidelines.
- Developing and maintaining current policies, procedures, tools, resources and other related documentation, to support contemporary human resource management in a public sector environment.
- Developing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure operational HR activities are appropriately and accessibly documented.
