**The Role**
The role is located at Garden Island Dockyard Sydney and forms part of the Directorate of Maritime Engineering & Logistics (DMEL) which is a directorate that resides in Maritime Sustainment Division (MSD) that forms part of the Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment (NSSG).

You will have access to generous and attractive working conditions as an Australian Public Servant in Defence. You can access a variety of flexible working arrangements, including part-time work, occasionally working from home and working hours that aren’t always nine to five.

This role forms part of DMEL’s Sydney based operation and will lead the Technical team on site.

**About our Team**
The Directorate of Maritime Engineering & Logistics (DMEL) manages Naval Logistics Information Systems, data, and projects through delivering the CN41 Maritime Support Product Schedule.

DMEL integrates and delivers business solutions together with Navy and CIOG that enable capability and assure seaworthiness across configuration management, maintenance, and supply systems.

The team is located across various locations, but predominately in Canberra and Sydney and are passionate about improving our Maritime sustainment data, whilst contributing to the future through Defence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) engagement.

They must have the ability to work both autonomously and in a group environment. A working knowledge of the suite of Maritime ILS products such as MILIS, NAVALLOW and APLCRATES would be advantageous, as would previous CASG or Navy experience.

They must be able to perform under limited direction and develop and maintain positive working relationships with other team members. They must be able to communicate and deliver written and oral messages clearly and concise.
