Wenona is seeking a proactive and dedicated Library Assistant to join our devoted library team and support the delivery of library services and resources to the broader Wenona community. This role plays a key part in assisting with information services, general administration, and the coordination of promotional activities, while contributing to a positive and collaborative internal culture where service, integrity and kindness are valued.

**The Position**
- Acts as the first point of contact for students and staff, maintaining a professional, approachable, and positive manner.
- Supports daily library operations including circulation, shelving, weeding, and processing of resources.
- Assists Teacher Librarians with lesson preparation and resource organisation.
- Contributes to promotional programs, events, displays, and the library’s digital presence.
- Participates in stocktake activities and works collaboratively within a small, team-oriented environment, with an interest in current literature trends.

This is a permanent full-time position.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have an interest or experience in library operations and familiarity with shelving, weeding, and resource processing, preferably within an education environment. This role requires the successful person to be highly organised with the ability to multitask and balance competing priorities. You will have computer and document management skills, particularly in MS Office, and an interest in digital media and literature trends will be highly regarded.
