We are also committed to ensuring our education systems are aligned to the state's employment, skills and economic priorities. **About the Role: As the Manager, Student Wellbeing, you will**: - Provide leadership and direction in the implementation and ongoing delivery of the Pilot, ensuring that the outcomes are aligned to, and supportive of, the government election commitment. - Provide high-level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to the scope of the Pilot, including an understanding of the mental health challenges facing young people and to how best to support young people's mental health and wellbeing in a school setting. - Undertake comprehensive consultation with internal and external stakeholders including GPs, school leadership teams, and other Government departments to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing service delivery of the Pilot. - Be responsible for the management of a budget and documenting and reporting on expenditure. - Lead and manage a project and establish and cultivate effective relationships and networks with key stakeholders and clients. - Prepare and review a wide range of briefing material, correspondence, project plans and reports for the Minister, senior departmental officers, government agencies and other entities on issues related to the Pilot. **Applicant's key attributes**: - Proven ability to achieve high levels of productivity autonomously, in complex, sensitive or high-pressure environments. - Demonstrated ability to manage projects to meet key criteria, timeframes and within budget constraints. - Exceptional written and interpersonal communication, with an ability to consult and negotiate persuasively on strategic policy issues and facilitate stakeholder meetings and briefings to senior management.
