**Who are we looking for?**
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Student Excellence Program Coordinator to join HiQ, Student Services and Wellbeing, Administrative Division.
The Student Excellence Program Coordinator is responsible for the College of Excellence, an co-curricular program offering experiential and immersive learning experiences for high achieving undergraduate students. The purpose of the College of Excellence is to ensure our scholars are well supported throughout their learning journey, that they embody QUT’s values and are future ready for their chosen career. This position reports to the Manager Student Engagement & Sport for supervision, workload management and for Performance Planning and Review (PPR). Key responsibilities include: - Design and deliver a program of co-curricular learning experience and professional development opportunities that development leadership skills, social and emotional intelligence, curiosity, and other attributes required of navigate work environments. - Contribute to the recruitment, success, and wellbeing of our scholarship students through internal and external partnerships and deliver transformative experiences that deepen engagement, promote civic responsibility, and creates a sense of community within the College. - Develop and implement strategies that build aspirations with higher degree research and the attainment of Prestige Scholarships. - Coordinate the promotion and marketing of Excellence Scholarships and the College of Excellence together with the Marketing & Communications department, including participation in QUT Open Day, TSXPO, and other promotional events. - Oversee the training and development of para-professional staff within Student Engagement and Sport, including coaching and mentoring of College Fellows and student volunteers. - Maintain accurate records of students’ involvement with the College, undertaking regular evaluations, reports, and research to enable the continuous improvement of the program. - Compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, hazard reporting and safe work practices. To ensure job flexibility the successful appointee may be required to: - perform any other duties as nominated by the University consistent with the relevant classification descriptors detailed in the Enterprise Agreement. Staff undertaking any new duties will receive training;
- participate in job rotation or multiskilling in consultation with their supervisor;
- work across campuses

The Student Services and Wellbeing portfolio leads the university-wide strategy and coordination of all non-academic matters related to the student experience. The portfolio of Student Services and Wellbeing delivers a range of services across the student life cycle, as well as providing advice and leadership to the university on a broad range of student and staff matters, including social justice and public policy.
Student Services and Wellbeing consists of the following departments: Student Administration, Student Engagement, Equity, Student Services and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE). The portfolio also has strong links to and works closely with QUT’s Oodgeroo Unit and Human Resources.
