Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate hands-on credit professional to join our finance team in Burleigh Heads, QLD. As we embark on an ambitious journey to reach $2 billion in sales within the next two years, we need a motivated and proactive - Credit Control Team Leader to grow and transform our credit management functions. You will have the ability to implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies and enhance credit controls.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day activities of accounts receivable and credit control processes across the group
- Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies and enhance credit controls
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and create strategies to minimize overdue accounts
- Provide weekly cash receipt forecasts to support group cash flow management
- Manage credit risks and develop strategies to improve cash flow and collection
- Maintain PPSR registrations and adhere to debtors' insurance (TCI) policies

Desired Skills and Experience

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Credit Control Team Leader or similar role
- Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable/credit management experience in a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software (Xero preferred)
- Experience servicing a wide range of customers, including major accounts and smaller organizations (approximately 100 accounts)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
