The aim of ecological restoration is to assist the recovery of ecosystems that have been degraded, damaged or destroyed. As an **Ecological Restoration Team Leader**, you will manage a team of Bush Regenerators delivering on-ground works in and around **Central Queensland.**

**About You**:
However, if the individual has technical knowledge and skills, the role can be adapted to include a greater field-based component. Typical tasks will include resourcing of the team and equipment, project management, building relationships with existing and potential clients, and coordinating the delivery of proposals and client deliverables. You will be supported by our functional staff and senior technical experts and report to the Operations Manager of Ecological Restoration.
- Passionate about the environment and achieving positive environmental outcomes with previous
experience / knowledge in natural resource management or related field.
- Experience leading teams, which includes motivating and empowering team members to excel.
- Project management skills with proven ability to produce high quality deliverables on time and to budget.
- Organisational skills, including resourcing of teams and equipment, and managing complex logistics.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Managing safety responsibly and maintaining a strong safety culture within teams.
- Technologically literate, including previous experience with MS suite and SharePoint
- High level interpersonal and client relationship management skills including aptitude for developing key stakeholder relationships and client-focused solutions.
- Displays an attitude that aligns with Ecosure’s core values: Passion, Optimism, Leadership, Team Spirit, Ethics and Responsiveness.
- Holds a Drivers Licence.

**The following would be highly regarded**:

- Prior ecological restoration experience or weed control experience and knowledge.
- Practical knowledge on how to maintain vehicles and equipment.
- Experience writing proposals or other client deliverables.
- Certifications in project management.
- Manual drivers licence and 4WD experience/competency.
