As the Food Production Team Leader at Fixx Nutrition Pty Ltd, you will assist the Manager with over seeing the day-to-day operations of the food production team. This full-time role is based in Burleigh Heads, QLD, and will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of Fixx Nutrition's range of health and fitness products.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Coordinating the food production team to meet daily production targets and quality standards
- Helping developing and implementing operational plans and procedures to optimise workflow and productivity
- Providing hands-on training, and support to team members to develop their skills and capabilities
- Assist with ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Ensuring the workplace operates in a clean, tidy & safe manner.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Previous work experience in food manufacturing
- An understanding of HACCP and operating with HACCP
- Food Safety Certificate (AUS)
- Excellent attention to detail & able to follow strict quality procedures
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, reliable & trustworthy
- Flexibility to work independently as well as within a small team
- Forklift license not a must but is advantageous
- Willingness to learn, be hands-on and eager to grow with our company
- Some heavy lifting is required
- Must have Permanent Residency status to live in Australia as this position is long term and not suitable for holiday working visas or those seeking visa sponsorship.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Achieve daily production output requirements with a hands-on approach
- Operate various vertical form-filling machines
- Measuring ingredients accurately
- Batch mixing powder and liquid ingredients
- Ensure set up and end of day tasks are completed
- Ensure high level of cleanliness in all work areas

**Own transport is required** as there is no public transport available to this location.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
