**About the role**
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Specialist is responsible for providing specialised WHS advisory, systems management and reporting services to the Region on a broad range of routine and complex WHS issues to ensure the effective implementation of the “One TAFE” WHS system.
This role will see you responsible for providing expert advice, support and guidance to ensure TAFE NSW can meet their accountabilities and all of its statutory obligations for safety by driving a positive safety culture, working closely with leaders and workforce to coach and mentor for safe behaviours.
This role is located at St. Leonards Campus and requires regular travel within the Sydney Region.

You are an energetic individual who is self-motivated and strives to achieve the best possible outcomes in different scenarios. Key to your success in this role is your ability to utilise strong communication skills to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including a level of comfort in communicating industry updates and process improvements to the workforce.
