The role Reporting to the Manager, Office for Prisoner Health and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for managing projects related to the health and wellbeing of prisoners and administrative processes for the Office for Prisoner Health and Wellbeing (OPHW). You will undertake all aspects of project management in accordance with best practice approaches utilising contemporary program and project management initiatives. In addition, you will also provide policy advice to the Director and Manager in the team and other internal and external stakeholders on a range of complex issues related to delivery of health care to prisoners.
The successful person
You will have proven experience on the management of projects, including the ability to define project tasks, set priorities and coordinate activities effectively to meet competing deadlines, with a track record of proven and sustained outcomes. You will have a high level strategic written communication, editing and research skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation and prepare briefing documents, submissions, correspondence and reports. Furthermore, you will utilise your high level analytical, planning and problem-solving skills within this role.
