Our client is a diversified Not-For-Profit institution, who have continued to see exceptional growth and strong strategic capabilities. Highly known for their exemplary customer service, dedication to sustainability and compassionate care for the wider community, an opportunity for a high calibre Finance Business Partner to join the Commercial Finance Team.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Facilitate flow of insights and information as business partners to Senior Management in all financial concerns including revenue commentaries, cost centre performance and capital expenditure program.
- Provide leadership to the annual corporate business planning and budget processes.
- Drive planning and forecasting activities and impairment exercises. This will require developing timelines, communicating requirements with Senior Management and working closely with Operations to achieve reliability and strength in the numbers.
- Support finance in monthly reporting activities and revenue recognition
- Drive and lead Business Cases with Government Regulatory bodies which optimise the business and development, working closely with the Senior Executive team and where required Trust members.
- Be able to analyse sales figures, competitor results and the activities of partnering organisations and external data sources to determine opportunities and appropriate product mix to drive sales and align closer with the Customer.
- The ability to present findings to senior stakeholders, guide their understanding and ultimately obtain endorsement to ensure that informed business decisions are achieved.
- Provide a comprehensive and insightful narrative, a solid understanding of what business practices and processes will need to change to positively influence the financial results and then in conjunction with Director present meaningful reports to external parties, including but not limited to Trust Committee, Department of Risk and Finance.
- Advisor to business stakeholders on financial treatments and accounting policies
- CA/CPA qualified or near completion
- Financial modelling and analytical, business partnering skills
- Retail experience directly/indirectly preferred
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word)
- Previous experience working with or in a large, complex environment
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders - financial and non financial
