**About the Role**

As the Business Partner within Monash Health, you will be part of a team providing advice and analysis to ensure appropriate financial accountability and management of the Programs. Reporting to the Senior Business Partner, you will assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reporting and activity information and provide support to the management teams of those portfolios. This role is also a part of the larger Monash Health Finance team that supports the organisation’s $3B annual revenue and expenditure budget.
- Provision of accurate and timely financial and operational activity reporting to users within the sector and Monash Health.
- Education and assistance to allocated Deputy Chief Operating Officers\Program Directors\General Managers\ Service Director(s)\Directors of Clinical Operations\Department Heads\Unit Managers in regards to financial matters.
- Support and promote Monash Health’s key emphasis on financial accountability.
- Regular attendance at selected management meetings.
- Monitor financial performance including movement of NWAU, EFT, KPI’s and work with Executives and Senior Managers to recommend corrective actions where variances are materially unfavourable.
- Attend identified training / professional development opportunities and duties.

**About you**

You have a tertiary qualification in business and are CA/CPA qualified. You will have good communication skills and work well as part of a team. You have excellent Excel skills and enjoy data analysis. You are curious and are interested in learning all aspects of health finance. You may be required to travel between campuses within Monash Health on a regular basis.

**To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge**:

- Tertiary qualification in business/accounting
- CA/CPA qualified
- Proficient in excel and financial systems
- Previous experience in health is desired
