This Australian-owned organisation is a professional services and engineering consultancy business with an extensive history of delivering complex engineering solutions and advisory services across a wide range of industry sectors.

With a long history of strong client engagement and delivering excellence to communities across Australia, there has been recent investment from the Board and Executive to build a greenfield and commercially-aligned people strategy to support their continued growth.

With a new HR structure approved to support with the evolution and operationalisation of this strategy, they have multiple new HR openings in the team.

As part of the newly created team, and reporting directly to the CPO, the HR Business Partner will:

- Execute and drive a range of initiatives across the national portfolio to support the new people strategy while also elevating HR across the business. These will include workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, performance, culture and D&I
- Coach and advise stakeholders while maintaining a strong connection to commercial and people drivers across the national portfolios
- Work closely with the Executive team, senior leaders as well as regional and divisional leaders to prioritise, develop and drive relevant people initiatives

You will have broad generalist HR experience and the demonstrated capability to engage with senior leadership teams in the execution of a national people strategy. Will we also be looking for:

- Familiarity with working in a consulting or professional services environment, ideally
- Strong commercial acumen, understands the business drivers and can influence, negotiate and lead impactful people outcomes
- Demonstrates strong relationship building skills including the ability to build strategic working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
