Our client, a well-established global company, a household brand is looking for a HR Generalist to join its team as a HR Business Partner in Australia across its business units. This is a fixed term (1 year) role with the possibility of becoming an ongoing permanent role.

The HR Generalist will support operational Human Resources activities for Australia across all its business units, while partnering with functional leadership group ensuring the delivery of programmes and initiatives aligned to its global strategies.

**Key Responsibilities of this include but not limited to**:

- Supports the country head of HR by collaborating with business units, departments, and functional leadership to implement HR programmes supporting business goals.
- Supports the country head of HR by collaborating with the global teams, including talent management and talent acquisition teams for the effective delivery of HR services.
- Supports the country head of HR in all the projects.
- Improve effectiveness of employee engagement activities, with a focus on increasing retention rates.
- Assists in dispute mediation, employee dismissals, and administers disciplinary procedures to ensure that human resource management is conducted effectively and fairly.
- Assists Talent Management with leading recruitment efforts.
- Provides timely, high quality and impactful employee communications to educate, motivate and engage employees
- Operational HR management advice and employee relations advice on matters relating to employment terms and conditions, including employment legislation and the interpretation of multiple industrial instruments/awards
- Identifies training and development needs and issues
- Provides solid partnering advice in the areas of talent development
- Support all on-boarding activities and processes
- Driving employee survey across the business
- Provide HR reports where required

**You should**:

- Have 1-3 years' experience in a HR Generalist capacity across the full employee lifecycle
- Have the ability to use Workday, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet, and Intranet.
- Possess digital literacy and are comfortable to adapt new IT tools
- Thrive in a fast-paced diverse organisational structure, with competing demands
- Have a degree in Business/HR/Management
