As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will oversee the successful operation of our vibrant venues. Your role will involve maintaining high standards of service excellence, driving financial success, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

**The role**
- Running the daily operations of the restaurant and bar
- Use your hands-on management skills and lead by example
- Assist the Manager to achieve both forecasts and budgets
- Provide clear and consistent direction whilst creating a great working environment for all staff

**You**
- Ideally have 12+ months management/supervisory experience in a busy fast paced restaurant.
- The drive and ability to lead and mentor a team of junior staff
- Proficient in both food and beverage management within an upscale restaurant venue
- A friendly, vibrant personality, with a focus on providing top level customer service
- Previous restaurant reservations management and event sales experience a plus
- Strong bar operations and cocktail knowledge
- A passion for the hospitality industry
- Be able to work lunch and dinner on a rotating roster, including weekends
- ACT RSA qualified
- WSET wine qualifications an advantage
- In possession of valid Australian Working Rights
