**About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the provision of mental health assessment, brief interventions, and treatment for consumers with a co-occurring substance use concerns. The Dual Diagnosis Coordinator offers high-level consultation, advice, support, and leadership to staff within Metro North Mental Health who work with consumers with concurrent substance use and mental health concerns.

About you

Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, experience, and clinical skills in dual diagnosis.
Participate in innovation and change to develop responses to address emerging service needs in relation to dual diagnosis service delivery.
Participate in and manage the performance and development planning of self and other staff who would like to further develop their dual diagnosis knowledge and skills.
Comply with legislation and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
