Mental Health Support Worker

Our organization provides alcohol and drug interventions, mental health support, group activities and dual diagnosis counselling to empower women to make their own decisions and participate in their community.
This role oversees delivery of centre based, group and mobile support services for women and children experiencing homelessness, participants involved in the Queensland Drug and Alcohol court and a range of programs focused on early interventions for families and women exiting remand.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based strategies that promote client engagement, harm reduction, and tenancy sustainment.
- Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate services and programs with a focus on continuous improvement and positive outcomes.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with clients, colleagues, and service partners through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or comparable field.
- National Police Check
- Blue Card (Working with Children's Check)
