**About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide high level consultation, advice, support and leadership for staff within Metro North Mental Health working with consumers with concurrent substance use and mental health problems, to enhance the availability and access to appropriate early interventions and specialist treatment options.
About you
Delivery of high-level evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions for consumers and their families/carers who present to the service due to severe, complex and enduring mental health and alcohol and other drug problems, including the development and provision of individual and group based therapeutic programs (for example utilising frameworks related to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).
Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with identified internal and external key stakeholders to facilitate access to services and integration of care for consumers with a dual diagnosis.
Deliver high level support and clinical leadership for staff in mental health services, alcohol and drug services, and other relevant stakeholders from government and non-government organisations who support people with complex dual diagnosis concerns.
