**About Our Client**:
My client is a highly regarded and innovative organisation operating in the environmental sector. Established with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and research, they operate under a strict policy of confidentiality, ensuring the protection of their proprietary methodologies, technologies, and data.

As the Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for the efficient administration of all financial activities of the business.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Process of daily banking reconciliations
- Process and reconcile credit and debit card statements monthly
- Set up new clients and send monthly statements
- Manage the lightyear processing of supplier invoices and payments, including mapping invoices, gaining appropriate approval and following up queries
- Upload to MYOB for weekly payment runs
- Maintain fixed asset register accurately
- Support the finance team and other departments of the business

**The Successful Applicant**:
To be a successful applicant, you will have:

- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Good understanding of accounting principle, with strong reconciliation skills
- Prioritisation and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to details
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- MYOB experience is advantageous
