Health and Social Policy works to improve the health and wellbeing of people - now, across their life and for future generations. We develop equity focused policies and programs for the NSW Health system, including where it connects with social care.
Crown Clerk 11/12, salary from $149,739 - $173,174 p.a. (plus Super and annual leave loading).

**What you'll be doing**
This role will be responsible for leading:
- Aboriginal maternity and child and family health initiatives, including those under Closing the Gap and Brighter Beginnings.
- The role includes the strategic leadership of the Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Health Services (AMIHS) and Building Strong Foundations (BSF) programs and Birthing on Country.
**About you**
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- This is an Identified role under the Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 and as such Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated relevant, professional and management experience in the area of health and social policy including experience in and/or strong understanding of Aboriginal maternal, child and family health and the NSW Government Closing the Gap initiatives and priority reform areas.
- Significant experience in developing, analysing and evaluating policy and other projects in a multi-disciplinary or multi-agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders to deliver on complex policy, program and project areas.
