**Role 1: Principal Policy Officer, Intergovernmental Relations**
**Employment Type: Full Time, Ongoing**
This is a great opportunity to lead the Intergovernmental Relations Team which sits within the Policy and Funding Reform, and Intergovernmental Relations Unit.
This is a pivotal role for a dynamic individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and supporting stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Your role is critical in coordinating high-quality advice for senior executives in preparation to represent NSW Health in national forums.

**Role 2: Principal Policy Officer, National Health Secretariat**
**Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary (up to the 30 June 2027)**
This is an exciting and high-profile opportunity to work directly with Health Chief Executives and Health Ministers as well as make meaningful contributions to important national health reforms. This is a rare opportunity to have insight into national decision-making for health.

**Crown Clerk 11/12**, starting salary from $145,378 - $168,130 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location

**What you'll be doing**
- Leading and managing a small team to prepare and coordinate complex and sensitive advice to achieve results in a high-volume work area
- Providing expert advice and information on the potential impact and relevance of current and emerging policy issues on NSW Health and Government policy objectives, as required.
- Actively engaging and maintain strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in cross-jurisdictional networks including Commonwealth and state and territory governments, to facilitate agreements for improving the health system.
**About you**

- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- The ability to work in a dynamic and high-volume team environment.
- Experience in providing strategic advice and support to senior or executive staff and/or the operations of a secretariat will be highly regarded
