**About this role**
The role is responsible for providing leadership on maternity strategic policies, in alignment with NSW Health priorities. The position will work closely with health service providers, other government agencies and key stakeholders, and supported by the Senior Clinical Advisors, Obstetrics and Neonatal, and other senior clinical advisors, you will deliver statewide leadership on policies, projects, programs and reforms relating to maternity care in NSW.

Crown Clerk 11/12, salary from $145,378 - $168,130 plus Super and annual leave loading.

**What you'll be doing**
- The role is responsible for providing leadership on maternity strategic policies, in alignment with NSW Health priorities. This includes the implementation of Connecting, listening and responding: A Blueprint for Action - Maternity Care in NSW, the NSW Inquiry into Birth Trauma recommendations, and the NSW Abortion Law Reform Act.

**About you**
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

- Demonstrated relevant, professional experience in the area of health and social policy.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and management experience.
- Significant experience in developing, analysing and evaluating maternity and newborn strategic policy and other projects in a multi-disciplinary or multi-agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders to deliver on complex policy and program/project areas.
