Payroll Team Lead required within an expanding State Government Authority

This Government Authority work to support Victorian's within their mental health recovery. Being a part of a caring & supportive team, you will be working within an authority who work across the community, hospitals & prisons to create a more connected, compassionate mental health & criminal justice system.

**Your new role**
The Payroll Team Leader is responsible for the day to day leadership of the payroll team to provide an efficient payroll service to the organisation, including the timely and accurate processing of all payments.
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and confidentiality are maintained within established guidelines whilst meeting all timelines
- Manage and resolve employee pay queries and support team completing this task
- Engage with all levels of the organisation constructively and collaboratively to delivery high quality payroll services
- Lead the team to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and customer service, including provision of effective self-service tools

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience and knowledge of personnel and payroll administration in a fully delegated environment, with the ability to work within a demanding and changing payroll environment.

**What you'll get in return**
This role provides the opportunity for an experienced Payroll Team Lead or Senior Officer to take the step-up into a Team Lead position working with a supportive management team. The salary commences from $95,000 + Super and negotiable across the band.
