As a Payroll Team Lead, you will be providing support to the Payroll Manager and leading the team on a day-to-day basis.

**What your day-to-day looks like**:

- Proven experience in using multiple payroll and T&A systems
- Proven experience in Leading a payroll team through end-to-end payroll, including training, recruitment, employee engagement, performance and career discussions, coaching & mentoring.
- High-level computer skills including payroll software, time and attendance systems (T&A) Microsoft Excel with the ability to produce and interpret reports
- Previous experience working in a Payroll Outsourcing or shared/client services environment is highly desired
- Client/Key Stakeholder Engagement

- **Payroll Metrics** - Essential
- Proven experience in using multiple payroll and T&A systems
- Proficient knowledge of Australian Payroll Legislation (PAYG, Payroll Tax, Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Superannuation, Leave, Workers' Compensation)
- Previous experience in running pays (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience (3-5 years)
- Experience working autonomously within a complex environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet payroll deadlines
