AGL’s Energy Hubs - Analysis unit have a newly created opportunity for a Strategy & Reporting Analyst to sit within our Strategy & Reporting team.

Based in Melbourne, this pivotal role will play a key part in driving the success of AGL’s ambitious renewable energy projects, to deliver 5GW by 2030 and 12GW by 2035 of new capacity.

By providing monthly portfolio reports spanning concept, development and through to delivery, you will be the crucial link enabling senior leaders to make informed and strategic decisions. Your work directly drives the realisation of AGL’s portfolio transition, ensuring the success of key projects and helping to shape the future of Australia’s energy market.

What you’ll be doing:

- Supporting Energy Hubs strategy development, strategy planning and implementation.
- Collaborating with Project Developers, Project Managers, Project Controls and Project Analysis teams to deliver monthly project updates and pipeline performance data.
- Ensuring data is captured accurately and consistently, enabling better decision-making for senior leaders within AGL.
- Effectively communicating portfolio and project level progress, utilising PowerPoint and Power BI dashboards.
- Engaging key internal stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for improvement within AGL’s reporting platform.
- Supporting senior internal stakeholders to deliver inputs for Enterprise and Business Unit reporting

What you’ll bring:

- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, implementation and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and work collaboratively across a range of functions and stakeholders.
- Understanding of energy markets, energy project development (strongly preferred)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Economics or relevant tertiary qualification, with a keen interest in the energy transition.
