A new position, the Analyst Corporate Development & Strategy will support the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy in driving the corporate development and strategic agenda of Tilt Renewables. The role will be responsible for providing financial modelling support for potential acquisitions as well as other strategic opportunities. This role will support the identification, assessment, and execution of acquisition/partnering opportunities for the business, as well as shaping our corporate strategy. This will also include macro / market and sectoral research in support of corporate strategy development. In addition, the Analyst will play a key role in the preparation of internal and external presentations for the CFO and CEO. This role is expected to be hands on, working across teams to understand and analyse value drivers of renewable energy projects and other business development and strategy opportunities.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Financial modelling and analysis - you are able to: produce robust, accurate and fit-for-purpose financial models to inform investment decisions; provide timely and insightful strategic and valuation analysis with respect to new opportunities in the in context of numerous competing priorities and tight timelines; develop and maintain Assumption Books to support the assessment of M&A Opportunities;
- Presentations skills - you are able to prepare visually compelling and insightful powerpoint presentations. These presentations may be used for senior management for internal purposes and to support external events (eg conferences, seminars, engagement with investors etc)
- Market and competitor analysis
- Business Development and M&A Support - support the team in the update of our business development register, provide input in to the review of investment opportunities and collaborate with the development team to consider opportunities; support the team in maintaining best practice M&A project management tools
- Support the team in the formulation and review of our Corporate Strategy - assist in the review and formulation of our Corporate strategy and investment assessment processes / frameworks, including providing financial analysis and market research to support key decisions.

**Your background**

You will have an undergraduate degree in Commerce / Economics / Finance / Engineering or related field. Underpinning your degree you have 2+ years of relevant work experience in a corporate role where you have demonstrated strong excel financial modelling skills and experience in preparing presentations for senior management.

Ideally, but not essential, you will have experience in energy / infrastructure industry and understanding of the key trends as well as transaction process experience derived from involvement in corporate M&A /business development.
