We are looking for an exceptional E-commerce Marketing Specialist, whose primary purpose will be to drive e-commerce sales through strategy, execution, data insights, testing and optimisation. Ultimately, this role is about driving sales of Broadsheet's books and giftcards.

We are looking for an exceptional E-commerce Marketing Specialist, whose primary purpose will be to drive e-commerce sales through strategy, execution, data insights, testing and optimisation. Ultimately, this role is about driving sales of Broadsheet’s books and giftcards.
Reporting to the Development Director, you will be critical in the success and evolution of Broadsheet’s e-commerce offering. This role will be focused on converting sales from the Broadsheet audience, as well as leveraging partner channels and paid performance channels.
We are looking for someone who is focused on building a career for themselves in the ecommerce and digital marketing space. To be successful in this role you need to not only focus on conversion but consider all the marketing channels that attract our audience, drive growth and reader retention.

This exciting position is Melbourne based and within an environment where you will have the support and scope to test ideas and influence decision-making in how to build a successful, robust and sustainable ecommerce strategy for the business. The role is full-time and based in our Fitzroy office, with hybrid working options available.
**Responsibilities**:
- Campaign and channel planning for e-commerce products across owned, earned and paid channels
- Creating assets and/or managing production of assets with our design partners, content marketing manager and marketing co-ordinator
- Briefing and management of Broadsheet’s performance marketing consultant and/or the direct management of Facebook and Google campaigns
- Reporting on website traffic, conversion rates, revenue, channel performance, customer acquisition cost and budget performance
- Day-to-day management of the Broadsheet shop site including product updates, images, pricing and promotions
- Work with the product team to analyse customer behaviour and inform shop site enhancements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and ecommerce best practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of marketing strategies
- Identifying and setting up new sales channels for Broadsheet products such as Facebook shop, Tik Tok, B2B and presence at key brand events
- Working closely with the marketing coordinator on customer service (mail/complaints/questions/stock)
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor degree in Marketing or a related field
- 3+ years experience working in digital marketing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and other relevant analytics tools
- Ability to work as part of a team and share and collaborate effectively
- Highly organised (good at prioritising, time management, multi-tasking, planning)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Flexibility in a constantly changing start-up environment, including working flexible hours to meet deadlines
- A strong interest in culture and city life
- Experience in customer service desirable
