**The Role**
The Directorate of Service Enablement provides the governance and assurance of new, modified and decommissioned ICT services on the cyber domain. Achieving this by guiding, assisting and facilitating projects to attain the authority to operate on the cyber domain utilising established ITIL processes.

Within the ICT Service Delivery function, a Cyber Operations ICT Service Officer is accountable under routine direction to perform and achieve moderately complex ICT service provision work within an integrated workforce.
They are accountable to have and maintain a well developed understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.

You will be accountable for organising your workflow and making independent decisions relating to your area of responsibility. They will interpret and provide advice within the ICT service delivery function area based on legislation, policy and procedures. They will undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessment, investigations and perform procedural, clerical and administrative support work to achieve results.

The Cyber Operations ICT Service Officer will coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members. They are expected to be capable of reviewing and developing the quality of work undertaken by others and identifying opportunities for on-the-job training within a work unit.

The Cyber Operations ICT Service Officer will be required to engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.

You will be specifically responsible for:

- Creating Agendas for Board Meetings.
- Review minutes from board meetings.
- Capturing evidence of endorsement from key stakeholders.
- Maintenance of Project tracker.
- Compliance checks within Service Design and Service Transition Processes.
- Production of reporting to identify new opportunities for proactive engagement.
- Ensuring appropriate relationships maintained within the Defence approved Service Management Tool.
- Enable the identification, capture and reporting of service risk.
- Assist with implementation of CSI initiatives to mature capability.
- Assisting senior members in team with key administration and governance tasks.
