We are seeking a self-starter to join Defence’s ICT Service Centre (ICTSC) team. This position is within the Service Management Branch (SMB) in Cyber Operations Division (COD).Duties of APS 4, ICT Service Officer include:

- Supporting the ICTSC by administering and maintaining the ICT Service Catalogue items using relevant tools and technologies.
- Liaise with supervisors, staff and stakeholders and respond to complex enquiries.
- Advocate for customers, facilitate software and hardware renewals and provide advice on ICT Assistive Technology which is approved for use in the Defence Environment.
- Research and identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of service and initiate and report on these actions.

**About our Team**
Service Management Branch (SMB) promotes and manages the integration of ICT services for the Defence community.

Working closely with our service providers globally to deliver ICT services to Defence, we provide support for end-to-end ICT service planning, delivery and support across Australia and around the world, including the coordination and delivery of new or changed ICT services and the management of ICT assets as a service.

We understand the need to provide high service expectations and performance from a customer perspective with clear visibility of the performance of the operational environment and awareness of its capacity.

This position is for people with attention to detail, an open and collaborative mindset and a willingness to commit to tight deadlines. You will share a team commitment to supporting stakeholders with delivering outcomes through the provision of high quality service. Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
