**Role**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator to join our dynamic Workforce Development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the gathering, cleansing, analysis, and reporting of Workforce Development and Industry and Aboriginal Participation information. As a Database Administrator, you will have a direct impact on the integrity and effectiveness of our data management processes.

**Duties**:

- Collect and interpret data, ensuring accuracy and completeness in the database.
- Perform in-depth analysis of data, generating valuable insights and actionable recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
- Identify patterns and trends within data sets, offering valuable input for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and the management team to understand business requirements and establish data-related needs.
- Define and implement new data collection and analysis tools and processes to enhance efficiency and data quality.

**Requirements**:

- A completed degree or degree in progress in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Statistics, providing a strong foundation in relevant technical concepts.
- Demonstrable relevant experience in database administration or a related field is preferred, showcasing the ability to effectively manage and optimize databases.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data management and analysis.
- Knowledge of the principles of social research and community engagement, enabling a comprehensive understanding of data requirements in the context of workforce development and Aboriginal participation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets and propose practical solutions.
- Experience and proven ability to work in a contractually compliant environment, adhering to company values and industry regulations.
- Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, communities, and culture, fostering inclusivity and cultural sensitivity in data management practices.
- High emotional intelligence, coupled with exceptional communication and rapport-building skills, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling productive interactions and the ability to articulate complex concepts.
- Organized and effective time management skills, allowing for efficient handling of competing priorities and deadlines.
- Proven track record of achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meeting deadlines, demonstrating proactive behavior, autonomy, and initiative.
- Confident, goal-oriented, and persuasive, with the ability to navigate challenges and drive positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, fostering collaboration and actively contributing to shared goals.
